Black Seed Film Hub Digital Media Training Application

Welcome To Black Seed Film Hub’s Training Application Form.

We are passionate about the development of our fellow creatives and small business owners, and so it’s with great pleasure that we announce that we are producing and hosting a FREE Digital Media Skills Development training course in urban Kwa Zulu Natal for 3 weeks in March 2023. We will cover the basics of social media, how to create business or brand profiles for your company or yourself as a creative on social media. We will also cover topics like website content management systems, Youtube, and online video content production.

Whilst the training is FREE, we do have a set of requirements that must be met by all applicants:

Must be 18 years or older.
Must have a South African Identity Document or be Permanent Resident of South Africa.
Should be a filmmaker, producer or content creator pursuing a career in the Film and TV industry.
Provide a motivation for why they believe they should be chosen as a participant, which should include what they would like to achieve through the Masterclass course.
Must be willing to be part of an on-going provincial network of aspirant TV and Film professionals.
Must have access to and be able to work on a computer/laptop/smartphone.
Must be based in KZN and available for an uninterrupted period from 6^th to 24^th March (09:00 – 13:00) – for physical and/or virtual attendance.
Individuals from previously disadvantaged backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Females are encouraged to apply.

Closing date for applications is 17^th February 2023.

NOTE:

Mass applications will be shortlisted into a group of 35 potentials.
After verification of details and submitted documents, maximum 30 learners will be confirmed and registered.
All final applicants must pay R150 deposit, refundable on completion.
